Postcards from Pang Welcome to Pangnirtung, Nunavut located on Baffin Island in Canada's Arctic. Join me in these pages as I introduce you to life in Canada's North. Pangnirtung, an Inuit community of 1400, is nestled on the shores of a fjord some 50km south of the Arctic Circle. I've just completed my third year teaching high school science, math and photography. Over the years I've bumped into polar bears, spotted bowhead whales, hiked to the Arctic Circle, photographed the northern lights and enjoyed dinner with the former Governor General of Canada during a recent trip to Pang.
